Licensed Mental Health Practitioner

Licensed Professional Counselor

Prior to entering the counseling field, Sarah spent several years ministering to college students in the U.S. and Japan. She continues to have a passion to help others experience healing and address the deeper issues in their lives. Sarah earned a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She previously worked at Child Guidance Center and Lutheran Family Services before opening a private practice in 2013.

Sarah strives to create a warm and welcoming environment where clients feel safe and cared for. She utilizes a variety of therapeutic techniques while integrating biblical truth and principles throughout the counseling process. Sarah currently works with women 19 yrs. and up who are dealing with depression, anxiety, boundaries, trauma, parenting and relationship concerns. Sarah’s sweet spot is providing a safe space for missionaries and ministry staff to process through their own story.

Sarah typically works part-time, as she primarily stays home to take care of their three children. Her hobbies include cooking healthy meals, reading, going for walks and spending time with those she loves.
